Juli Casale served on the Delray Beach City Commission from 2020 - 2023, and she is ready to serve again. Her grassroots campaigns are always funded and staffed by residents and do not rely on PAC money from special interests groups. She has been inspired to run for office again to bring her unique experience as a successful businesswoman and former City Commissioner to be sure residents of Delray Beach have an independent voice.
In addition the City Commission, Juli has served on the City's Planning and Zoning Advisory Board, which makes recommendations to the City Commission about proposed new development, and was a board member of the Delray Beach Preservation Trust, a nonprofit organization whose mission is to preserve historic buildings and places in Delray Beach. Juli was actively involved in the updating of the City's Comprehensive Plan because she believes that planning for the future includes protecting the rich history of Delray.
Juli has also served on the board of the Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA), served as Secretary of the South Central Regional Waste Treatment and Disposal Board and on their Pension Committee.
She is a member of the Beach Properties Owners Association, the Delray Beach Historical Society, the Delray Beach Initiative to End Homelessness, the Delray Beach Preservation Trust, the Delray Beach Tennis Center and GFWC Women’s Club of Delray Beach.
Juli and her husband Robert, an attorney, their 14-year-old daughter Kiki and several rescue pets have called the Sabal Lakes neighborhood of Delray their home for the past 19 years. Juli holds a liberal arts degree from Harvard University. She is a competitive tennis player and an active volunteer.
